Education: Kingston upon Thames, BA (Sculpture) 1979-81; Royal Academy Schools, Post-graduate Diploma (Sculpture), 1981-81

After leaving art school, Harry Brockway worked briefly as a teacher and then trained as a stone mason.

He has been self-employed since 1988, working as a carver in stone and wood and as a wood engraver producing mainly book illustrations and black and white commercial artwork.

He has worked for the Old Stile Press, the Greynog Press, The Readers Digest Association and the Folio Society.
